There is not that much support out there for families of addicts. Talking to frontline workers who work with addicts can be a good resource. Some of the staff at Streetworks have a lifetime of experience and are great listeners. Sometimes AA, CA, or NA can be helpful. AADAC is another good place to call – they may have support groups or family counseling services.
